Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to complain about the poor service provided by Him Electronics Center, Kalimati, and Kathmandu, through your newspaper “The Kathmandu Post”.

On date December 11, 2010, I had bought a color TV (Samsung Color TV, 21 “) from Him Electronics. After three months use, to my surprise, its graphic went off resulting a poor picture quality. Immediately I telephoned to the customer care service of Him Electronics explaining the problem. The costumer care center said they would send a mechanic soon. I waited the mechanic for 10 days. Each day I telephoned them, in response the beg pardon and promised to send immediately. But the mechanic never reached at my home. Even they had promised home repairing service on the warranty card with six months after the date of purchase.

As a result of delay, I called another mechanic whom my husband knew. Even I could not watch my favorite programs on TV for 10 days. Thank god, he came at my house immediate I gave him a call. He managed the graphic of the TV and recovered it natural color. He charged me Rs.1000 for the service.

In the circumstance I believe I am entitled to compensate the service charge I paid for. I look forward to hearing from you (Him Electronics) very soon.

Yours faithfully

Anup Khadka
