Vitamin A and Deworming Program Announced for Children in Nepal

Kathmandu, October 21, 2023 – The Department of Health Service, under the Ministry of Health, Nepal, has announced the continuation of the annual Vitamin A and deworming program for children. This year, the program took place on October 19 and 20, targeting children across the country.

Health assistants administered Vitamin A capsules to children aged six months to five years. In addition to Vitamin A, deworming tablets were given to children between the ages of one and five years.
